Cosmetic Dentistry
There's no reason to put up with gaps in your teeth or with teeth that are stained, misshapen or crooked. Today cosmetic dentistry includes veneers that can be placed on top of your teeth to correct nature's mistakes and life's mishaps and help you have the smile you've always wanted. Dr Reddy can turn the smile you envision for yourself into a reality. Unlike a crown, which covers the entire tooth, a veneer is a thin shell that is placed over the front or visible parts of the tooth. These ultra-thin veneers can achieve a firm bond to the tooth, resulting in a natural appearance that is unsurpassed by other restorative options. They are superior to crowns in a variety of cases. They provide a much more conservative approach to changing a tooth's color, size or shape. Veneers can mask stains or injuries, or discolorations due to a root-canal procedure. They are also ideal for masking unsightly fillings in front teeth. Patients with gaps, pronounced chipping or severe wear may consider veneers. Generally, veneers have shown remarkable longevity.
We offer two types of veneers-ceramic veneers that are produced by a dental laboratory and resin-based composite veneers. With proper care, your new veneers will greatly improve your appearance and increase your confidence for years to come. Veneers applied by Dr. Reddy restore natural beauty and health to your teeth. If you feel you would benefit from our cosmetic dentistry, we welcome you to make a free consultation appointment. We can give you the beautiful smile you deserve.
Veneers
Dental veneers are thin layers of porcelain to mask discolorations, chipped teeth, or diastema (spacing) in teeth. Laminates are a type of veneers placed on virgin teeth to correct staining or enhance smaller teeth. Our office will evaluate if simple chair-side veneers made of composite resin can be a suitable choice for more conservative and affordable treatment.
Crowns
A common type of restoration, crowns are prescribed for teeth with extensive decay, fractured teeth, or teeth that have had root-canal therapy. Crowns are also placed on-top of dental implants. Choices of materials vary for dental crowns, from porcelain fused to metal to all porcelain crowns that provide high esthetic results.
Implants
The number one choice for replacing missing teeth, implants are bio-compatible titanium posts that provide a natural, long-lasting restoration. Once dental implant is placed and bone heals, an abutment is attached to implant that crowns can be placed on.
Dental Fillings
The most commonly done procedure, fillings are placed on teeth to fix cavities or fractures with tooth colored resin material.
Laser Whitening
Completed in-office as a safe and simple method to change tooth color. Multiple options are available for teeth whitening, such as in office with gels and light or with take home bleaching trays for convenience or simply otc whitening strips.
Clear Braces
An aesthetic alternative to traditional metal braces which uses a series of custom-made plastic trays to gently align teeth. Invisialign and Clear Correct are labs that use 3D technology to help align teeth. Our office provides free consultation to evaluate if you would be a suitable candidate for clear braces.
Dental Bridge
Dental bridges are used to replace missing teeth. A bridge consists of two crowns that cap adjacent teeth, and one or more “pontic” crowns that sit in place of the missing tooth/teeth that are all connected together. Bridges are an alternative to implant restorations.
Dentures/Partials
Dentures or Partials are fake teeth used to replace one or more those missing teeth. Partials anchor to remaining teeth with metal or plastic. Dentures can be done in conjunction with implants to provide better stability
Sedative Dentistry
Our office provides sedation for patients with anxiety during their dental visit. Sedation with nitrous oxide (laughing gas) or prescribed pills such as Valium can be used to make your dental procedures more comfortable.
